This Privacy Policy explains how Retentionite collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Retentionite study platform.

Information We Collect

We collect account information such as your name, email address, username, profile details, and sign-in method. If you sign in with Google, we receive the basic profile information Google shares with the app, such as your email address, name, profile image, and Google account identifier.

We also store the study content and activity you create in the app, including subjects, notes, flashcards, study sessions, retention progress, settings, feedback, profile images, friend connections, shared decks, messages, and similar learning data.

How We Use Information

We use your information to provide authentication, save your study progress, personalize your experience, generate learning tools, support social study features, maintain security, troubleshoot issues, and improve Retentionite.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your Google account data for advertising.

Google Sign-In

Retentionite uses Google Sign-In only to authenticate your account and create or connect your Retentionite profile. The app requests basic identity information needed for sign-in. You can remove Retentionite access from your Google Account permissions page at any time.

Storage and Service Providers

Retentionite uses cloud infrastructure and service providers to operate the app, including hosting, database storage, file storage, analytics, and AI-related services. These providers process information only as needed to run the service.

Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including HTTPS, access controls, authentication tokens, and restricted infrastructure access. No online service can guarantee perfect security, but we work to keep your information protected.

Your Choices

You can update account and profile information in the app. You may request deletion of your account or data by contacting us. Some information may be retained where required for security, legal compliance, backups, or legitimate operational needs.

Children

Retentionite is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.
